A conscious and transparent approach

At RCB Artes e Decor, we strive to work more consciously by reducing waste, choosing materials and packaging with care, and encouraging the care and reuse of our items.

This page explains the practices we currently seek to follow. This does not mean that all products have the same characteristics or that they are certified as sustainable. For specific information, always check the product page, label, or packaging.

Materials and production

Our items may be produced using different materials, such as plaster, cement, waxes, soap bases, fragrances, dyes, packaging, and other components. Composition and characteristics may vary between products and batches.

Where applicable, we aim to produce in small quantities, avoid waste, and make responsible use of materials. We do not present products as eco-friendly, biodegradable, non-toxic, or sustainable if there is no documentation to support such claims.

Packaging

We aim to use appropriate packaging to protect items during transport and avoid damage or waste. Whenever possible, we prioritize the reuse or separation of packaging materials according to local regulations.

After receiving your order, please separate cardboard, paper, plastic, glass, or metal according to the guidelines in your area of residence. Recycling rules may vary depending on the municipality.

Care to extend use

Proper care can help extend an item's lifespan. Follow the specific product instructions and also consult our Usage and safety advice page.

When an item is no longer in use, it may be possible to repurpose it for another decorative function, provided that such use is safe and appropriate for the article's characteristics. Do not alter, cut, or apply products to a piece without confirming that the procedure is appropriate.

End-of-life of products

Plaster and cement pieces

Do not automatically place a plaster or cement piece in the general waste. The correct way to dispose of it may depend on the size, quantity, and whether the piece has paint, varnish, resin, metal, or other associated materials.

Confirm the rules with your City Council or local waste management entity. When applicable, a recycling center may be the appropriate option. Do not dispose of these materials in recycling bins intended for packaging.

Pieces with mixed materials or finishes

Pieces with varnish, paint, resin, metal, wood, fabric, or other components must be assessed as mixed-material items. Separate the components only when possible without risk and follow local disposal guidelines.

Candles

Let the candle and the container cool completely before handling them. When possible, remove wax residues without damaging the container and dispose of the glass or metal according to local regulations. Do not pour liquid wax down the drain.

Soaps

Use the soap until the end whenever possible. Then, dispose of the packaging according to the material and local recycling rules. Always check the ingredients and specific product instructions.

What we do not claim

We do not claim that products are 100% sustainable, eco-friendly, biodegradable, carbon-neutral, non-toxic, or certified without specific documentation to support each claim.

We prefer to communicate only the practices and characteristics that we can explain clearly and responsibly. We continue to look for ways to improve the brand's materials, processes, and packaging.
